YMCA Sport Stars Program 

Introduction
YMCA Sports star Program is an inclusive program that will teach children the fundamentals of sport. Through a combination of programs that will cater for children experience different programs. The program will create a journey for kids to go on develop to young sporting adults.
Aim of program:
To develop young children an interest in sport, in a fun engaging way. Where children can gain confidence and establish skill sets that will assist them in mental, physical and social development. The program will give opportunity for people to choose a path they may follow in their sporting journey but will won't define them to one sport with the opportunity to explore along their journey.
Sports Stars is about inclusion for children and allows them a chance to explore and develop, the program is made of a number of small programs that form Sport Stars. They are all aimed at development and progression.
Programs that come under the Sports Star Programs
Rookie Stars for kids aged - 2-5
Soccer Stars - 5-12
Hoops Stars - 5-10
Netty Stars (netball) - 5-10
Level Defintion:
Bronze - is the basic level. The children are all new to the sport and starting with very basic skill
